When you hear the word 'detox,' you likely imagine waste products in your body being washed away all at once. However, in medicine, the process of mitigating or removing toxicity is a much more sophisticated task than one might think. It is on a different level than simply blending and drinking vegetables or fruits.

  • Hydration Suited to Your Constitution: Instead of mindlessly gulping down juice, it is better to aid circulation with warm water or tea that fits your constitution.

  • Balanced Nutritional Design: Even if you drink vegetable juice, be sure to pair it with high-quality protein like boiled eggs or tofu. This prevents the metabolism rate from dropping.

  • Ensure Sufficient Sleep: The time when the liver and kidneys are most active in detoxification is when we are in a deep sleep.
