I've seen people eating chicken breast seasoned with ramen soup powder. What do you think about this diet from a TKM perspective?

While it is an effective way to manage taste and convenience, the high sodium and additives can lead to water retention and bloating over time. It is fine for an occasional change of pace, but for healthy weight loss, it is essential to first assess your body's metabolic state.
I completely understand the struggle; I remember my own attempts at dieting where I tried various ways to make plain chicken breast edible. This method certainly has its strengths: it masks the dryness of the meat, making the diet easier to maintain while ensuring adequate protein intake. However, the drawbacks are significant. The excessive sodium in ramen powder can lead to the accumulation of 'Dam-eum' (痰飮)—phlegm-fluid retention or metabolic waste. This obstructs fluid metabolism, which can make your body feel heavy and cause dizziness. Furthermore, relying on strong stimulants can lead to 'Bi-heo' (脾虛), or Spleen Deficiency, weakening the gastrointestinal system. Those with weakened Spleen function often experience a decline in digestive power and fatigue more easily. Therefore, the answer is: 'it depends.' Rather than suppressing your cravings until you crash, adding occasional variety can help soothe psychological hunger. However, I would discourage doing this daily. The priority should be creating an environment where 'Eo-hyeol' (瘀血, blood stasis) and waste products can be efficiently eliminated from the body. I recommend we examine your current metabolic capacity together to find a sustainable diet tailored to your specific constitution.
