How does a soy-milk-centered diet differ from a Korean-medicine diet, and what should I compare?
A soy-milk diet manages intake and nutrition, while Korean-medicine care also reviews lifestyle, symptoms, and medicines to adjust a plan. Neither is universally better.
If soy milk replaces meals, check calories, protein, fiber, and sugar by product and review the whole diet rather than relying on one food. Excessive restriction can cause fatigue and rebound appetite.
Korean medicine may interpret poor digestion and low energy as spleen qi deficiency (脾虛), and swelling and heaviness as phlegm-fluid retention (痰飮). This does not establish one cause for slowed metabolism or weight change.
Compare sustainability, nutritional balance, medical history, medicines, and current symptoms. Herbal medicine or acupuncture is considered as an adjunct only after status and safety are reviewed; discuss any unwanted reaction with a clinician.
