I live near Konkuk University; is it okay to get a diet herbal medicine prescription via telemedicine instead of visiting the clinic in person? Who would you recommend this for?

Telemedicine is a great option for those with demanding schedules. It is most recommended for patients with no underlying medical conditions who have prior experience with weight-loss herbal medicine. However, if you are highly sensitive or a first-time user, an in-person visit is advised for a precise constitutional analysis to ensure safety.

I completely understand how overwhelming a busy professional life can be, which is why I offer the convenience of telemedicine prescriptions. This option is ideal for those who want to maintain consistent weight management despite a tight schedule. If you are already managing your diet but have hit a plateau or need a more efficient boost, a remote consultation and guide are often sufficient. However, I strongly recommend an in-person visit in the following cases: patients with severe Spleen Deficiency (脾虛, Bi-heo), characterized by very poor digestive power, or those with significant edema caused by Phlegm-Fluid Retention (痰飮, Dam-eum), a disorder of internal fluid metabolism. For these conditions, I must personally perform pulse diagnosis to accurately determine your constitution and fine-tune the herbal ingredients. Additionally, if you have previously suffered from palpitations or insomnia while using conventional weight-loss medications, I would prefer to see you in person. It is crucial to examine the state of Blood Stasis (瘀血, Eo-hyeol) and your psychological tension levels to create a more comfortable and balanced prescription. I will apply all my clinical expertise to find the safest path for you. Please choose the method that best fits your current situation.
