What is different about Costco diet bread, and what should I check when eating it?

Diet bread may mean a high-fiber whole-wheat or rye product or one using alternative sweeteners, but products vary. Check the label, portion, and digestive response before choosing it.

The name diet bread does not ensure the same ingredients. Check whether it contains whole wheat or rye, uses an alternative sweetener, and how much sugar, fat, and one serving contain; then set a portion within your usual meals.

Reducing refined carbohydrates or added sugars may be useful, but one product does not determine weight change. Korean medicine may discuss reduced digestion and energy as piheo (脾虛) and heaviness or fluid retention as dam-eum (痰飮); these are reference views of your state.

Whole grains’ rough texture or an alternative sweetener may cause discomfort for some people, so note your response after eating. Keep vegetables, protein, the rest of your diet, and activity in view, and adjust with a clinician if discomfort repeats.
