Can I expect results from a remote Korean-medicine weight-management prescription, and what is the usual process?
Remote care alone cannot determine effectiveness. Interviews review your current state, history, and medicines, then the plan is adjusted according to your individual response.
Remote care uses a questionnaire and consultation to review current energy, daily life, and goals before considering a prescription. Because some information is difficult to assess directly, another person's result should not be generalized to you.
Korean medicine may interpret circulatory discomfort and heaviness as eohyeol and dam-eum, and reduced digestion and energy as piheo. These are clinical ways to describe an individual state; herbal medicine does not guarantee weight loss or restored metabolism.
During care, the interview, history, medicines, and your response while taking the medicine are reviewed to adjust the prescription and plan. Responses can differ with constitution or underlying illness, so record your own changes and discuss discomfort with the prescribing clinic.
