How does a Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM) diet program actually work? I'd like to know about real cases or experiences.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer because every individual's constitution (Sasang type) differs. Many patients seek help when appetite control becomes unbearable or when extreme fasting leaves them depleted of vital energy. Some find relief as the medication ends their 'war with hunger,' while others notice their body feeling lighter first. However, because the wrong prescription for your constitution can cause dizziness or insomnia, a detailed professional consultation is essential.

In my early studies, I mistakenly thought weight loss was simply a matter of eating less and exercising more. However, in clinical practice, I found that weight struggles are often not about a lack of willpower. Many patients suffer from 'Dameum' (phlegm-fluid retention), which slows metabolism, or 'Eohyeol' (blood stasis), which causes chronic swelling and heaviness in the body. A representative example is the 'Bi-heo' type (Spleen deficiency), where a weak digestive system causes a total loss of energy even after skipping a single meal. If these individuals use indiscriminate appetite suppressants, they risk damaging their health and experiencing severe yo-yo effects. Therefore, I design treatments to first boost vital energy and clear metabolic waste. This signals the body that it is safe to lose weight naturally. This is why I ask such detailed questions even during remote consultations. Please view this not as a simple diet pill, but as a process of restoring your body's broken balance. I will work with you to identify your current state and determine where your metabolic blockages are occurring.
