Who would benefit from non-face-to-face diet herbal medicine? I'm wondering if it would be right for me.

It is recommended for those with busy schedules who find clinic visits difficult, or those who prefer a private start to their weight loss journey. However, since prescriptions vary significantly based on whether you suffer from strong cravings and edema or lack of energy and poor digestion, a preliminary consultation is recommended to assess your current condition.

Many people try extreme fasting out of enthusiasm, only to experience dizziness and fatigue. The core of a successful diet in Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM) is restoring the body's internal balance. Non-face-to-face prescriptions are generally recommended for two main types: First is the 'Low Metabolism Type.' These individuals have an accumulation of Dam-eum (痰飮, phlegm-fluid retention/metabolic waste), leading to a heavy feeling in the body and frequent swelling (edema). For them, the focus is on promoting circulation to clear stagnation. Second is the 'Energy Deficiency Type.' This is often related to Bi-heo (脾虛), or Spleen Qi deficiency, where weakened digestive function leads to easy fatigue. Using strong appetite suppressants alone can further deplete energy, so the prescription must include tonifying (補) ingredients to maintain stamina during weight loss. While our detailed medical questionnaires and consultations ensure a thorough assessment, we strongly advise patients with underlying conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or a history of medication side effects to visit the clinic in person for a pulse diagnosis (Jin-maek) to ensure maximum safety and accuracy.
