Suddenly, one of my ears feels muffled and I can't hear (Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss).
This is a medical emergency. Failure to treat cochlear nerve damage within 3 days to 2 weeks can result in permanent hearing loss. Steroid therapy, along with hyperbaric oxygen therapy (which supplies oxygen to the auditory nerve) and acupuncture, must be administered concurrently.
