My heart pounds even when I'm resting (palpitations).

In Traditional Korean Medicine, this condition is known as "Simgye (palpitation)" or "Jeongchung (fright-palpitation)." It stems from a deficiency in the heart's qi (Sim-gi-heo, Heart Qi Deficiency) or the lingering effects of shock or fright. The heart feels as tiny as a pea. We need to strengthen and build up the heart using Jaha-geo (placental) pharmacopuncture or Bo-sim (heart-nourishing) herbal medicines.
