My jaw clicks every time I open my mouth.
This is a joint noise (clicking) that occurs when the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disc moves out of position and then back into place. Initially, it may just be a sound, but if left untreated, you might experience difficulty opening your mouth or develop pain. Therefore, if the sound becomes more frequent, you should get an examination.
