Do I have to exercise while taking herbal medicine for weight loss? Can I just take the medicine and lose weight?
Even with herbal medicine, exercise still has a role in managing weight and fitness. If your energy is low, do not rush into medication; review your condition and routine in care, then begin gradually with walking.
Weight may change when food intake falls even without exercise, but that does not mean that only fat has decreased. With too little activity, maintaining muscle and fitness can be difficult, so retain movement within what you can manage.
Reduced digestion and fatigue may be assessed through pi deficiency, edema and heaviness through phlegm-fluid retention, and a sense of slow circulation through blood stasis. Forcing high-intensity exercise in such a state may delay recovery, so check your response beginning with walking and stretching.
When choosing herbal medicine, ask about its purpose, duration, and whether it can be combined with other medicines. If palpitations, dizziness, or marked fatigue occurs after exercise, or if you have an existing condition, tell the clinician rather than adjusting medicine or exercise on your own.
