When eating out cannot be avoided during weight loss, in what order can meals be managed from a Korean medicine perspective?

Eat vegetables first, choose lukewarm over cold water, chew each bite about 30 times, and walk about 15 minutes afterward, applying what is feasible through spleen qi deficiency, phlegm-fluid retention, and blood-stasis perspectives.

First, vegetables and fiber may slow carbohydrate absorption and reduce sharp post-meal glucose rises, even when the menu cannot be controlled.

Second, use lukewarm water if cold water burdens digestion; third, chew each bite about 30 times. Korean medicine interprets weak digestion as spleen qi deficiency and undigested stagnation as phlegm-fluid retention.

Fourth, walk lightly about 15 minutes instead of lying down, supporting qi-blood circulation and blood stasis. Apply feasible habits without compulsion.
